Infernal Ground
Infernal Ground is an inner dimension within Planet Earth. It is the hellish realm where "evil souls" go after they have departed from their earthly bodies. A little-known fact is that it is also where naturally-existing beings live alongside those with infernal permission. It consists of Nine Circles, or Spheres, though the latter term is commonly used despite being traditionally designated for its polar opposite, Elevated Land.
Its ruler is Lucifer and its incarnate is Satan
Punishment
Each Circle of Hell has a different theme in which people are tortured for. The torture varies but there are similarities in some methods that are known throughout human myth.
They include:
- Rape
- Forced pregnancy
- Rat torture
- Force-feeding
- Boiling
- Baked alive
- Scaphism
- Sensory overload.
These torture methods happen for eternity, and if they may kill the person, they are brought back to life to experience the torture again.
The Circles of Inferno
1st Circle
This Circle is ruled by Amdusias.
2nd Circle
This Circle is ruled by Paimon.
3rd Circle
This Circle is ruled by Leviathan.
4th Circle
This Circle is ruled by Mammon.
5th Circle
This Circle is ruled by Belphegor.
6th Circle
This Circle is ruled by Asmodeus.
7th Circle
This Circle is ruled by Beelzebub.
8th Circle
This Circle is ruled by Astaroth.
9th Circle
This Circle is where Lucifer resides. It isn't, in fact, a hellish plane. It is a temperate plane that can get impossibly cold.
